Haul!!!

HEY!!!!!!!!!
I was suppose to blog about my haul to CVS like two weeks ago, but I was... lazy. SIGHS! I know I should be more productive and keep my blog updated, but wanna know what? There is a bright side to procrastination. Since I was too lazy to post my CVS haul blog up, I can now post up what I have accumulated over the last couple of weeks! Isn't it exciting?.....
well I'm excited about this!

Ok, well lets get started.

THE CVS HAUL

There was a buy one get one free at CVS for Revlon and Lumene so I decided to grab:
  • infamous Revlon PhotoReady Foundation in the shade 003 shell
  • ColorStay Mineral Finishing Powder in 010 Brighten
  • Color Burst in Soft Nude and Baby Pink
  • 2 Lumene Sensitive Touch Cleansing Wipes (I LOVE THESE WIPES!!!!)

THE EVERYTHING ELSE HAUL

I have been dying to get my hands on the new Clinique Acne Solution Make up, ever since trying out a sample from the April issue of SEVENTEEN magazine. I was finally able to get it yesterday and I also decided to get the Acne Solutions Clearing Concealer in Corrective Green with it. I am a sucker for acne product since my skin is prone to break outs.

Other things that I got were the Laneige Make up Primer Sebum Control and the Feverlet HD Make-up BB Cream.
I was so excited when I saw the BB Cream since the box was so pretty and I managed to get a travel size one to carry around with me.

The last thing I got was :

The Shiseido Bio-Performance Super Refining Essence

So far I am loving this product, I am really feeling the results and I've only been using it for two days.

END

Well that is the end of my haul. I'm sorry since my picture taking skills are still not that great, but I also blame my video recorder for not being a great picture taker. I really should save money for a camera instead of buying make up, but it's so tempting when there are so many new awesome products to try out.

Til next time!!!

Phaie

ps I am planning to do a review on all of these products soon, so be on the look out ( I feel so cheesy writing that, but I feel like it is needed. lol)

First Post and Loma Pearatin Fortifying Repairative Serum review

Hi!!!!!
I've been holding off my first blog post for awhile. I wanted to wait until the beauty products that I brought online arrive before posting, but I decided to post a review on a hair product to start things off.

This is one of my HG products that I absolutely cannot live without. On my lazy days all I do is slap on a quarter size amount of this stuff and I'm out the door.(I know it says to put a dime size amount, but my hair is on the thick side so i put more than recommended). I have been using this product for about two months now and I am really loving the results.

On the site it is described as:
"Reconstruct, Restore and Shine
Wearable Reconstructor Treatment
Instant Strength and Color Protection

Time-released Creatine and Keratin Protein-based serum continuously reconstructs, repairs and hydrates hair and skin.

Provides thermal protection and locks-in all haircolor."

-Loma Pearatin

So a little bit about my hair type is that it easily gets dry and frizzy. It also gets oily around the roots very quickly. In fact my hair gets oily within 24 hours. Here is a picture from last summer. It's not a very flattering picture (in fact it's a bit blurry) but it gets the idea across:

And here is my hair now:

I apologize for having my face take up most of the picture (I don't have a camera right now so this is the best I can do. I promise that I will take a better picture of my hair when I have the time). Comparing this picture to before it definitely changed my hair a lot. My hair is more smooth and shinier than before. My ends are also more manageable and doesn't flip out. What I also love about this product is that it doesn't leave my hair feeling sticky and oily. My hair seems to absorb all the serum in leaving it soft and silky; even when I put it near my roots it doesn't weigh my hair down or anything.

The only down side to this is probably the price. I went to Cosmo Prof and got this for $9.99 but it usually retails for around $15 for 3.4 fl oz. I think it's worth it, since I have used this product for more than two months and i only used up 1/3 of it.

Well that's just my two cents.

Til next time,
Phaie

ps sorry for the not so great quality of my photos I promise I will get a camera ASAP!
